Chicago-based vocal powerhouse Richard Kincaid soars into the top 20 on the FMQB Hot Adult Contemporary radio chart this week with his soulful single "Ain't No Sunshine," claiming the #19 spot (with a bullet). Kincaid's rendition of the Bill Withers R&B classic places him in company with notable artists including Colbie Caillat, Jessie J, Coldplay and Roberta Flack. The new music video for "Ain't No Sunshine" can be viewed on YouTube and www.RichardKincaidMusic.com.

Kincaid's forthcoming sophomore album Mosaic features eight powerfully produced cover songs (from a rousing gospel-tinged version of Elton John's "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" to "Tracks of My Tears"), plus four original tracks by his multi-talented musical partner David Taylor II. The album is set for release on Taylor's House of DT Records label this spring.

In addition to pursing his music career, Kincaid has also embraced his philanthropic side, founding the BeCause Foundation (http://becausefoundation.org/), a non-profit organization that combines documentary films and outreach campaigns and tackles such hot button issues as homelessness and healthcare, human rights in East Burma, sexual abuse of children and bullying. The foundation has partnered with the creators and producers of the poignant new film "Bully" which offers insight into the cruel world of the lives of bullied children, and is set for national release by The Weinstein Company on March 30, 2012.

Kincaid has lent his music talents at fundraisers to support his causes including a benefit held in December 2011 for Life for the World -- an organization he sponsors to raise money for the Maranatha Orphanage and School in Haiti.
