Vancouver, BC – January 16, 2024 – Destiny Media Technologies Inc. (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQB: DSNY), the makers of Play MPE®, a cloud-based SaaS solution for digital asset management in the music industry, today announced financial results for its fiscal 2024 first quarter ended November 30, 2023.
"We are pleased to observe that strategic investments in Play MPE® are beginning to yield palpable results," said Fred Vandenberg, President and CEO. "Our ongoing commitment to invest in the platform and marketing functions is aimed at further accelerating revenue growth."
Financial Highlights
Highlights for Q1 2024 include (all figures are in USD dollars, and comparisons are to Q1 2023):
Play MPE® sets a new benchmark with its highest quarterly revenue to date
Currency adjusted revenue grew by 10.6% (13.1% unadjusted)
Independent record label revenue up 19.5% globally
Adjusted EBITDA $0.3 million
During the first quarter of the fiscal 2024, under a normal course issuer bid, the Company repurchased 172,000 shares for a total cost of $0.2 million.

Destiny Media Announces Beta Release of MTR in Canada
The new MTR service aims to offer affordable airplay monitoring for music industry professionals
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - July 24, 2023) - Destiny Media Technologies Inc. (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQB: DSNY), the makers of Play MPE®, today announced the beta launch of MTR™ ("Music Tracking Radar" or "Meter"), a new service that gives music industry professionals the ability to monitor digital broadcasts of music. The beta launch will initially cover more than 800 stations across Canada.
As part of the beta launch, MTR™ is offering discounted monitoring to test the service. To access the beta version, users can register at https://www.musicmtr.com. The service will initially be available to monitor broadcasts in Canada with plans for expansion across the globe.

Destiny Media Technologies Inc. Announces Fiscal 2023 Third Quarter Results
Vancouver, BC – July 17, 2023 – Destiny Media Technologies (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQB: DSNY), the makers of Play MPE®, a cloud-based SaaS solution for digital asset management in the music industry, today announced financial results for its fiscal 2023 third quarter ended May 31, 2023.
"We saw strong independent revenue growth throughout the quarter resulting in a 13.5% increase in this segment,” said Fred Vandenberg, President and CEO. “Independent record label represents 52% of our total revenue and this growth was seen throughout all major market segments and is derived from growing sales numbers and revenue per release. Total revenue grew by 6.9%.”
“The Company increased its product development expenditures throughout the second half of 2022 to execute on earlier successful research and development expenditures. These investments continue through the first three quarters of fiscal 2023 where we see an increased in capitalized development costs,” continued Vandenberg. “These costs are largely financed by ongoing operations.”
Highlights
Highlights for Q3 2023 include (all figures are USD, and comparisons are to Q3 2022):
Quarterly revenue up 6.9% (6.3% foreign exchange adjusted);
Independent record label revenue, representing 52% of total revenue, up 13.5%;
EBITDA is $176,726 and capitalized development costs are $237,640.
During the quarter, the Company restarted a Normal Course Issuer Bid and repurchased 5,685 shares for a total cost of $3,923. Total repurchases under the normal course issuer bid to July 12, 2023 of 9,585 shares for a total of $7,463.

"The launch of Play MPE®'s browser based global distribution components was a major accomplishment for fiscal 2022," said Fred Vandenberg, President and CEO. "With this launch, we moved resources in the latter half of the year to advance new products and new functionality designed to accelerate revenue growth."
"While a devaluation of the Euro resulted in a small revenue decline for the year, we expect our increased investments in product and business development to impact 2023," continued Fred Vandenberg.

On April 13, 2022, the Board of Directors of Destiny Media Technologies Inc. (the "Company"), appointed Olya Massalitina, CPA, as the Company's Chief Financial Officer. The appointment was effective on April 13, 2022. Mrs. Massalitina is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 10 years of accounting, audit, and financial reporting experience. Mrs. Massalitina has provided financial reporting services to a variety of public and private companies in different industries.
There are no arrangements or understandings between Mrs. Massalitina and any other persons pursuant to which Mrs. Massalitina was selected as an officer of the Company.
There are no family relationships between Mrs. Massalitina and any other director or executive officer of the Company, and there are no transactions which would require disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.

What I am getting tired from is this very low trading each day, it tell`s us that the company is not doing well in terms of IR, there is basicly no interest on DSNY anymore.
Plus 5-10% growth is nice but boring especially when we talk about a micro cap which is doing around $ 4 Mio turnover a year and each quarter they explain what they did in the past.
If you want to get interest in this stockmarket then you need to have a good business plan forward looking, you need to do targets for future, you need to have a 5year plan, whith breakdown by year and you need to explain possible future investors how big your adressable market is and what your plan going forward is to take this market over.
Fred did well in restructuring the company so I am only partially unsatisfied but forward looking, the furure, he was not able show why someone should buy into DSNY.
Their are big shareholders, I have no clue why they don`t push more to increase market cap and shareholder value.

Mossberg to the Company's Board of Directors. Following the appointment of Mr. Mossberg, the Board will be comprised of five directors, four of whom are independent.

Prior to founding Three Part Advisors, Mr. Mossberg was a sell-side analyst at Southwest Securities and was Director of Research at Hodges Capital Management. He holds a MBA from Southern Methodist University and BBA in Finance and BBA in International Business from University of Texas - Arlington. Dave also served in the United States Army Reserves as an interrogator/Russian linguist.
