14:14 ET -- Lowe's is one of the most mentioned companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data. The home-improvement retailer said it would expand its farm and ranch offerings in up to 300 additional stores. Select locations would carry a broader range of products in categories such as pet, livestock, trailers, fencing, utility vehicles, and specialized hardware--plus Carhartt apparel and the expansion of Wrangler. The one-stop shop concept would be introduced, primarily in the South, Midwest and Northeast, during the summer. On Tuesday, Lowe's beat fiscal first-quarter profit and sales views but cut its full-year outlook, citing lower demand. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva. (jennifer.tershak@wsj.com)
