DHF div was just cut... again. One of the poorer performing stocks of 2013.

S & P is a gimmick for the amateurs...plus it's overrated and overpriced. Loaded with talking heads spurring morons to buy crap that fluctuates in value in a hyper blink of an eye. I guess this type of investment isn't "sexy" or "smart" to you... or not to your preference? Who cares...my portfolio earns me $500,000+ yearly plus I haven't lost a nickel in value from my original entry points. I'm not here for share appreciation...I'm here for stable pps and extremely high returns. Which I then each month turn around and reinvest $50,000 monthly into the same stocks from div returns to raise my "stupid" or "not sexy" divs even higher. All the while not risking a dime of my original PPS entry spots. Keep drinking S&P kool aid it's busted alot of idiots chops over decades...stock market crash in the 30's...Black Monday 87', IPO super thirsty Jim Jones 99' blood bath party. But, hey the next one is already HERE in front of your face it's the Govt Stimulated Manipulated low interest rates blue light special with printing trillions of dollars they don't own party. You see I like market crashes every 10-15 years the last few decades I profit off them. I snap bargains up when the the morons chasing the charts and S&P wikipedia facts lecture guys like myself who have already made their money and are increasing their assets. Let idiots like yourself drink the S&P kool aid LOL. I'll stick to building toward my SAFE yearly $1 Million Dollar dividend portfolio...while you lose your money when market corrects 20-25% if not more. And I'm under 50 asshole...and Berkeley educated. You'll be the guy staring at me while I'm laughing and drinking expensive wines in Nice,France next summer just wishing you were me...when I don't have to leave and your 10 day vacation ends...and your on a tight budget. There is no way in hell the Dow and S&P is worth what it is...and you'll find out soon enough. :)

Another POS targeting unsophisticated retirees who only look at the dividend, and not the whole picture.
Chart compares it with the S&P 500:

Been in this for some time...excellent high div return and under $5.00...stable pps no wild swings. I have several div plays that I have held and keep acquring positions. This is one of them. Under the radar...plus cheap.

Could see a golden cross here soon. The last one (May 2009) was bullish for over 2 years.

Re jumped in again today at $2.61 with almost 2500 shares, will wait till hits high fours or low fives & sell again. Its in my IRA but its great to buy such quality at a discount. And if this portion doesn't jump to five fast, I will collect 11.44% interest while I wait. GL

Collecting a monthly check is great.
just get in as low as you can as the shares do move around.

spread your money between a few high yielders and live with some of the price fluctuations

you can even trade it fairly well altough I like the at least a year hold for tax reasons if you can.

msy icb some others go for the monthly div
thats money you can do what you want to with.

USE A DISCOUNT TRADER ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
scottrade,scwabb,ameritrade etc...

7-10 commission is worth making your own trades

Anyone Buying this CEF?

I am particularly interested in this CEF because it was the only one that has leveled off during the most recent crisis in Greece.

AOD took a dive while DHF fluctuated a little but of the three CEF's DHF remained fairly unchanged. I bought into it.....Ex date is close anyhow.

Any thoughts on different CEF's?

I like AOD because of the yield.

DHF not a bad yield or price + a good company too.

GNV a once a year CEF is in trouble right now.
