MILAN—Italian spirit maker Davide Campari SpA has agreed to buy Socié té des Produits Marnier Lapostolle SA, the maker of the liqueur Grand Marnier, in a deal valuing the company at €684 million ($758.90 million).

Campari will get round 20% of Marnier's shares immediately and acquire a 28.8% stake held by the French company's controlling family shareholders from 2021.

It also plans to file a public tender offer on all outstanding Marnier's shares to take full control of the company.
