https://malaya.com.ph/news_business/pxp-energy-to-pursue-shares-swap-worth-p1-56b/?amp

Take aways:

-Increased Control by PXP Energy: PXP Energy will almost fully control Forum Energy Limited with a 97.88% stake, which could lead to more decisive and streamlined decision-making processes within Forum Energy.
-Potential for Enhanced Operations: With a larger stake in SC 72, PXP Energy might be better positioned to invest in and develop this asset, possibly leading to improved operational outcomes for Forum Energy.
-Ownership Changes: Existing minority shareholders of Forum Energy Limited will see a significant shift in the ownership structure, potentially reducing their influence.

-Future Strategic Directions: The increased stake by PXP Energy and the proposed changes to the board could signal strategic shifts or new initiatives aimed at maximizing the value of Forum Energy's assets.

Amen, all things are possible, the people must stand strong for territorial rights. We will see in the future; faith is strong.

Selfish insiders plus Chinese oppression leaves a little hope for us. Nonetheless, all things are possible with God ā€”so I keep praying about itā€”the Philippines needs itā€™s a oil and gas. These discoveries are in Filipino national territory. Pray that God will remove the oppression of the Chinese, and that the Philippines will be allowed to use their own natural resources. Then, perhaps, we, too, will prosper.

Hi all, this is my first time posting on this board. I've been holding for a little over a year and still believe this could be big in a few years. Is there still hope here? Thoughts?

To me, the question is not will they eventually drill, it's how long can FECOF hold out financially.

Just wondering, why do you view this situation so negative? I guess you have more insight to this than I do but from what I read the company is hopeful to restart the work soon and the new incoming administration already said they wanna work with China on the dispute and to explore this stuff together. What am I missing here? PXP stock price has been relatively strong lately as well based on these rumors or not?

PXP trades on the Philippine Stock exchange and has given back all of its gains.

https://www.pse.com.ph/company-information-PXP/

In a letter dated April 6 signed by Energy Usec. Donato Marcos, which PXP Energy attached in its disclosure, the DOE said the SJPCC took into consideration the ā€œpolitical, economic, and national security implications of any activity in the West Philippine Seaā€ in deciding that exploration firms should secure clearance first before proceeding.

The Philippines is a very poor country that is lead by a banana republic govt full of corruption, my cousin lived there for a while and couldn't wait to get out. I remember sending only $100 each month and that was enough to live on. This deal is worth 100's of millions of dollars and I would assume some one is not satisfied with the deal. It all comes down to money and payoffs, JMHO

Yes it appear while I was not paying attention, the Philippines got woke and swallowed the Green Cool aid.
It looks like the former dictators son is going to be elected, at this time. He is pushing wind instead of oil or gas to "fix" the country.
This is the third time in many years I have gotten burned by this stock. I am out, out. Good luck to all.

Subject: Forum Energy: Increasing Your Stake

Dennis, Roberto, Jose:

FEC Resources (https://fecresources.com/) owns 6.8% of Forum Energy.
The FEC Resources (ticker: FECOF) market cap is $6.5 Million.
FECOF is publicly traded and shares can be purchased with relative ease.

Roberto, according to your Atok Big Wedge public filings, you value Forum Energy @ $2.5 Billion. And Dennis, according to your Udenna Corporation public filings, you value Forum Energy @ $500 Million.

Roberto and Dennis, using an average of your valuations, FECOF should be trading at about $0.10/share and not its current price of $0.02/share. Atok Big Wedge, Udenna Corporation, and Apex Mining could increase its stake in Forum Energy by purchasing shares of FECOF on the open market.

Many thanks.

I think a deal gets done before the election - it is too important - energy security. But I could be wrong.

The other thing is that the wheels of government get very sticky for the next 5 months until new ministers appointed so generally officials think it best to avoid big decision during this period such as granting the extension for SC 72. Friends of new president may have their eye on the project .
We should keep a watch out for PXP 2021 results ( not sure when that will be )
