              OF INTENT TO ACQUIRE INTELECT NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES



EuroTelecom Communications, Inc. (Class A Stock quoted on the Alternative
Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange as ETMA; Trading Symbol-EUTC in
the US) announces that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Intelect
Network Technologies, the optical networking subsidiary of Intelect
Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: ICOM). The consideration will take the form of
cash and convertible preferred stock.
