PACIFIC WILDCAT ANNOUNCES FILING OF APPLICATION FOR ANNULMENT OF ARBITRAL AWARD

Pacific Wildcat Resources Corp. has advised that its subsidiaries Cortec Mining Kenya Ltd., Cortec Pty. Ltd. and Stirling Capital Ltd. have applied to annul the arbitral award rendered on Oct. 22, 2018, in which the claimants' claims against the Republic of Kenya were dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.

The application for annulment was filed at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in Washington, DC, on Feb. 15, 2019. As part of the application, the claimants requested that ICSID provisionally stay the enforcement of the award. The annulment proceedings are being supported by a litigation funder.

Further updates will be provided as the proceedings progress.

A copy of the application can be found on the company's website and filed on SEDAR.

Agreed: Clearly the Past Government Gave Paw the Licence -

Kenya had the responsibility of dotting their Is and crossing their Ts before they made a decision to issue a permit.

The SIX BILLION dollar question is -

If Kenya as a government agency issuing a mining permit failed to follow established procedures (laws) they were required to follow and they issued the permit - why should that then be PWCRFs fault?

It should not be! It was a shortcoming on the part of the Kenya governing agency and therefore the error should be held against Kenya and NOT THE CUSTOMER PWCRF

Honestly Paw didn't have a Enviro Permit before they got there licence but cleaerly the Past Government Gave Paw the Licence on top of that they spent millions even before the license was ever granted and found the deposit so Kenya Government owe's them something

The whole 3rd world countries are all corrupt I won't put another penny in 3rd world countries the governments are all CROOKS

When I saw Kenyan govt visiting the White House about a month ago, and knowing that Canada was in in the dog house with Trump, I sold this.

Toast. I don't see how there is anything here. The tribunal ruled against PAW as they circumvented the law and obtained their mining license by lobbying a politician. Basically their process was as corrupt as the Kenyan Gov't, as I read it.
