The Link Group, Inc.: Acquisition of Media Creative Limited

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 2003--Further to the press release of March 25, 2003, the Link Group, Inc. ("the Company") wishes to announce that it has completed the first stage of the acquisition of Media Creative Limited through the issuance of 36 million common shares for 48% of New Unicorn Holdings Limited. New Unicorn is the owner 99.99% of Media Creative. The Company has an option to acquire the remaining 52% of New Unicorn for $1 million.
On 21st March 2003, the Company has signed an agreement to acquire 100% interest in Wise Media Investments Limited. The agreement has been changed from Wise Media to New Unicorn, the new holder of 99.99% beneficial interest in Media Creative, a Hong Kong based company primarily engaged in design and printing work in publication business.
The Company also wishes to announce the appointment of the following new directors: Ms. Whitney Tang Yin, Mr. Tang Hing Lun and Mr. Ken Wan. They all come with a wealth of experience in the media industry as well as business in China. We welcome all of them to the board and look forward to their invaluable contributions to the Company.

Summary
Ernest Cheung, Secretary and Director, was born and raised in Hong Kong and immigrated to North America in 1969.
He received a B. Math. (Computer Science) in 1973 from the University of Waterloo , Waterloo , Ontario and an MBA from Queen's University of Kingston , Ontario in 1975.
He joined the brokerage industry in Toronto after graduation.
He passed the Canadian Securities Course and received his broker license in 1976 and later passed the Partner/Director exam in 1986. From 1975 to 1993, he held research analyst positions with several Toronto based brokerage houses with his last position at Midland Walwyn Capital, Inc., later known as Merrill Lynch Canada . Throughout his research analyst career, he had held Vice President and Director positions with different firms. Besides research positions with the above-mentioned firms, he also managed an overseas investment fund at Capital Group Securities, a subsidiary of the Banque Indosuez.
He left the brokerage industry in 1993 to concentrate on funding Chinese projects via North American markets. Projects included phosphate fertilizer in Hubei , oil and gas in Northern Shaanxi, smart IC card systems in Guangxi and advertising in Hong Kong and China .
He currently serves as director and/or officer for several public companies listed on both the U.S. and Canadian markets.
