Sparta Capital Ltd. ("Sparta") (TSX VENTURE:SAY) announces that, effective
January 24, 2010, Sparta granted stock options to purchase an aggregate of
375,000 shares to directors of Sparta (the "Stock Options").  The exercise price
of the Stock Options is $0.10 per share.
