A more accurate review of the body cam video shows me a couple things. The Taser sighting shows as dot and the BolaWrap shows as a line or plane. Right before the suspect steps through the gate you see the BolaWrap sighting up in the trees. I never really catch a good look at the sighting after that….. maybe high near the suspects neck at one point but really never again. As soon as the suspect steps through the gate you hear the BolaWrap being deployed……. This doesn’t seem like proper technique. I feel like the officer that deployed the Taser would have had better success as the suspect was in nice position away from the gate. The more they use the BolaWrap the better they’ll get. Unfortunately for this suspect neither Taser nor BolaWrap were deployed successfully.

Kinda hard for new metro cities to get into this when they are staring at Seattle PD cancelling their contract touting non effectiveness in the field.

New city budget folks I’m sure are VERY impressed this “revolutionary” device hasn’t reported earnings from last year….even though it’s May.

They are confident with investing into a company that has fewer sales in 2023 than in 2022.

They LOVE the fact that WRAP’s auditor QUIT last week. Don’t expect the books to get uncooked anytime soon!

You are missing the glaring fact that:

1. Seattle’s police department purchased it.

2. They found it ineffective.

3. They stopped using it.

You can talk about sample size all you want, fact is this thing should be ADDING big cities, and they just LOST one that had been using their product. That is horrific news.
