PLAINSBORO, N.J., Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- SAI Global, a
worldwide leader in providing expertise, perspective, technology
and tools in compliance, ethics and governance solutions, has
entered into a strategic partnership with Frank Fine, JD, LLM, PhD, a recognized
international antitrust law expert and Director of EC Competition
Law Advocates, in order to offer global organizations an integrated
best practice solution to stay compliant with antitrust and
competition law.
"We're delighted to be partnering with Frank in this critical
area of compliance and risk management," said Ann Wootton, President and General Manager, SAI
Global Compliance Americas. "SAI Global and Frank have worked
in the past to develop effective, engaging online training; this
alliance enables us to provide an integrated, seamless antitrust
and fair competition product and service offering extending from
corporate boardrooms to junior sales people and administrative
staff."
Mr. Fine will counsel Boards and senior managers on their
responsibilities and duties, providing the type of face-to-face
training required for in-depth conversation and understanding.
He will also prepare bespoke compliance manuals to supplement
SAI Global's Web-based education and awareness including areas like
EU competition law.
"I'm very happy to be working with SAI Global in this area,"
stated Mr. Fine. "We know each other quite well and share a
commitment to help organizations understand and mitigate their
risks in antitrust and competition law. This is a situation
in which two plus two equals five, or even six."
Mr. Fine, who is admitted to practice law in both the US and UK,
has specialized in EU antitrust law since 1986. He has
authored three books in this field and is the General Editor of
