Global Special Opportunities Trust PLC (in members' voluntary liquidation) 
 
Further to the announcement made on 5 May 2011, the Board of Global Special 
Opportunities Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that, at a general meeting of 
the Company's shareholders held today, the special resolution placing the 
Company in liquidation was duly passed. 
 
It is estimated that a distribution will be made to ZDP Shareholders in the 
week commencing 6 June 2011 and that the first interim distribution will be 
made to Income Shareholders in the week commencing 11 July 2011 (however, 
please note that the actual dates for distribution will be determined by the 
Liquidators). 
 
A copy of the resolution passed at the General Meeting has been submitted to 
the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at: 
www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
