                             PLACING OF NEW SHARES


London, Beijing, 17 October 2007: Sun 3C Media Plc, the Chinese mobile media
services company listed on AIM (AIM: SCCC), is pleased to announce the
successful placing of 50,011,923 ordinary shares at a price of 8.55 pence per
share raising approximately #4.28 million, before expenses. The placing shares
represent 9.25 per cent of the enlarged share capital of the Company.

The additional funds will be used for general corporate purposes in the
continued expansion of the Company's mobile and fixed line operations in China.

Mr Chen Zhaobin, Chairman of Sun 3C Media said,

"We welcome a further long term investor with a leadership position and
knowledge in investing in the technology, media and telecom area which the Board
believes illustrates confidence in the strategic direction of Sun 3C Media."


Mr Li Gang, CEO of Sun 3C Media further commented,
