Announces change of Company Name to CEC Unet Plc
London, Beijing, 03 October 2007:
Name change from Sun 3C Media Plc to CEC Unet Plc.
Sun 3C Media Plc, the Chinese mobile payment services company listed on AIM
(AIM: SCCC), is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions were passed at
its Annual General Meeting held on the 28th September, 2007, including the
special resolution changing the company name to CEC Unet.
The name change follows the company's recent acquisition of CEC Unet from CEAC,
a subsidiary of China Electronics Corporation ("CEC") a RMB 80 billion in sales
electronics conglomerate which is one of China's largest producers and
distributors of mobile handsets.
Management believes that this change reflects the company's renewed strategy to
become China's leading payment portal and capitalises on a strong and important
brand in China.
A further announcement will be made when the name change becomes effective.
