    OCZ launches "whitebook" based on Intel Centrino� 2 platform

    OCZ Technology Group, Inc. ("OCZ" or "the Company", AIM: OCZ), has launched a new "whitebook" notebook computer solution for computer
manufacturers and system integrators featuring Intel's new Centrino� 2 (formerly codenamed "Montevina") mobile processor technology. OCZ's
new "whitebook" is the world's first Intel Centrino� 2 based notebook and was used as the platform to showcase Intel's 'Core2 Extreme Mobile
CPU', at the chip manufacturer's mobile technology launch event in San Francisco, USA on the 14 July 2008.

    "Whitebooks" are the generic platforms which computer system manufacturers and systems integrators use to build brand name notebook
computers. OCZ's whitebook provides these organisations with a compelling technology set including "upgradeable" graphics, external upgrade
hard drives, and a fully open BIOS (Basic Input/Output System), which allows these companies to provide customised notebook solutions. OCZ's
new 17" product is the first whitebook to combine Intel's new Centrino� 2 mobile technology with features like dual Hard Disc Drives (HDDs)
and advanced graphic functionality.

    OCZ will offer its new whitebook platforms to its current partners in the industrial and retail computing sub-sectors, in combination
with its existing broad offering of mobile computer components, which includes features such as such as Solid State Drives (SSDs) and mobile
computer memory solutions. In addition OCZ will supply this platform to new customers which do not currently integrate OCZ branded
components into their own systems.

    The Board is confident that the addition of a whitebook solution will expand OCZ's addressable market and generate incremental
cross-selling opportunities.
