                           BOARD OF DIRECTORS CHANGE                           

Given the recent expansion of its science base, the Board of Source BioScience
has established a Scientific Advisory Board to guide the company in aspects of
its science strategy and scientific evaluation of new opportunities.

The Company is very pleased to announce that Professor Karol Sikora has agreed
to take on the role of Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Board. As a
consequence Professor Sikora will step down from his current position on the
Board as Scientific Director.
