Change of Accounting Reference Date 
Interim Dividend 
 
Eclectic Investment Company plc (the "Company") announces that it has shortened 
its last accounting reference period from 31 May 2010 to 23 November 2009.  This 
change has been effected to coincide with the last day the Company was classed 
as an investment trust listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange 
plc.  The Board, having consulted its advisors, considers the change to the 
Company's last accounting reference date to be in the best interests of 
shareholders. 
 
The Directors also announce that the Company intends to pay an interim dividend 
for the period 1 June 2009 to 23 November 2009 in an amount of 0.75p per 
Ordinary share.  The interim dividend will be payable on 30 September 2010 to 
holders of Ordinary shares on the register at 3 September 2010 (ex-dividend 1 
September 2010). 
 
Accounts for the period 1 June 2009 to 23 November 2009 will be posted to 
shareholders shortly.
