                    RESIGNATION  OF  NON-EXECUTIVE  DIRECTOR 
 
 
The Board of Directors of The Davis Service Group Plc ("Davis") has been 
notified that John Burns will retire from the Board with immediate effect. 
John has decided to retire following the successful recruitment of our new Chief 
Executive in 2009 and three new non-executive directors in March this year. 
Christopher Kemball, Davis Chairman, commented: "On behalf of the Board, I would 
like to thank John for his outstanding contribution to Davis as a non-executive 
director.  He has always been committed to doing what is best for the long-term 
success of the business.  John's extensive experience, commonsense and wise 
counsel have been deeply appreciated over the years by both the Board and
