Dow Chemical Co Ajay Banga Elected to Dow Board of Directors

The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) today announced that Ajay
Banga, president and chief executive officer of MasterCard, has
been elected to Dow's Board of Directors, effective
immediately.
Prior to joining MasterCard in 2009, Banga was chief executive
officer of Citigroup Asia Pacific. During his tenure at Citigroup,
he held a variety of senior management roles in the United States,
as well as Asia Pacific, Europe, and Middle East and Africa
regions. Mr. Banga also has extensive experience with consumer
goods companies, including Nestle and Pepsico. From 2007 to 2012,
Banga served on the board of directors of Kraft Foods.

international markets, as well as the financial sector and a
variety of downstream, consumer-facing businesses," said Andrew N.

Banga is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, The
Economic Club of New York and the Financial Services Roundtable. He
is also an Executive Committee member of the Business
Roundtable.
