African Potash Limited ('African Potash' or 'the Company')

African Potash is pleased to announce that it has made an application for the admission of its ordinary shares to trading on the ISDX Growth Market ("ISDX"). If the application is approved, the projected date for admission to trading on ISDX is 8 December 2016.

On 21 November 2016, African Potash notified that its nominated adviser, Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, had given notice of its intention to resign as nominated adviser with effect from 7 December 2016.

In accordance with the AIM Rules for Companies, if a replacement nominated adviser is not appointed by 8 December 2016, trading in the Company's shares on AIM will be suspended. The Company understands that in the event that trading in its shares on AIM is suspended, trading in its shares on ISDX would also be suspended.

The Company will provide further updates in respect to its application as and when required.
