Golden Odyssey Mining Inc. (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:GOE) (PINK
SHEETS:GODYF) announces that on May 16, 2008 the board of directors granted
350,000 options to a director of the Corporation and today granted a total of
500,000 options to directors and officers of the Corporation to purchase common
shares of the Corporation at an exercise price of $0.10 per share exercisable
for a period of five years from the date of grant.
