                                ACTIVITY UPDATE

Calgary, Alberta - Centurion Energy International Inc. (TSE: CUX; AIM: CUX.L)
reports the following update on operations.

SOUTH MANZALA GAS PROJECT - EGYPT

Sales Gas Pipeline and Gathering System

The project to bring the South Manzala gas to market is well underway. The 8
inch gas pipeline construction is ongoing. Welding and lowering has been
completed on all of the 32 Km 8 inch sales pipeline. Welding has been completed
on all 11.5 Km of the 6 inch gathering line and lowering has been completed on 5
KM.

Central Processing Facility (CPF )

The central processing facility is designed to process and compress 35 mmcsfpd
of sales gas from three gas fields. The CPF consists of an Inlet separator, a
1500 hp gas compressor, and a gas dehydrator with associated metering and
utilities. The contract for fabrication of the process equipment for the CPF has
been awarded to Presson-Enerflex, Nisku, Alberta on a turnkey basis. The first
phase of the equipment that will allow early production to commence has been
shipped to Egypt.

Upon completion of the pipeline, gathering system and CPF which is expected
during the third quarter, the additional gas production will add about 6,000
boepd to Centurion's daily production allowing the company to break through the
10,000 boepd plateau.

SEEB POWER PLANT - TUNISIA

The 27 Megawatt SEEB power plant commenced commercial operations on May 9, 2003.
To date the plant has been utilizing gas only from the El Biban field at about
6.5 million cubic feet per day. When the interconnection facilities are
functional, Ezzaouia field gas will begin to supply about 1.5 million cubic feet
per day with El Biban field supplying the balance of about 5 million cubic feet
per day. Power production is meeting or exceeding budgeted levels.

EXPLORATION PLANS - TUNISIA

Ezzaouia Concession

Two step out wells are planned on the mapped southern extension of the Jurassic
structure on the Ezzaouia Concession. Targeted additional reserves could be as
much as 10 million barrels. A third well is planned using the same rig to test
the Zeebag / Ketatna interval. The first Jurassic well is expected to spud in
the 4th quarter. A rig has been contracted and will be available in late
October.
.

Robbana Basal Meloussi Sand Play

A structure in the Basal Meloussi formation has been mapped near the existing
Robbana producing well. A recently acquired 65 km 2D seismic program is
currently being processed to confirm the closure. A well is planned for the 4th
quarter and discussions are currently underway to contract a drilling rig. The
well is targeting potential reserves of 40 million barrels.

Mellita Exploration Permit

Centurion has mapped 16 geological leads on the 845,728 Sq Km permit located
offshore in the Gulf of Gabes in shallow water. The structural leads range in
size up to 35 sq km with the largest structures having the potential for up to
100 million barrels of oil reserves.

Discussions are advanced with a major international oil company for
participation in the exploration of this permit which would provide funding to
carry Centurion at no cost, through a program of seismic acquisition and the
drilling of the first exploratory well.

Deep Triassic Plays

A Triassic Structure at a depth of approximately 5,000 meters has been mapped
underlying each of the Ezzaouia and the El Biban producing fields. The closures
defined by 3D seismic at Ezzaouia and 2D seismic at El Biban could each hold 2
to 3 TCF of gas with associated liquids. Centurion continues to explore
alternatives with partners to get a well drilled to test these structures.
