Allocate Software plc (AIM:ALL), the leading provider of workforce optimisation
and electronic rostering solutions for the UK healthcare market, is pleased to
announce an increase in NHS Trust customers in its first quarter to the end of
31 August 2009. Thirteen NHS Trusts signed contracts for MAPS Healthroster, the
leading electronic solution for healthcare providers, bringing the total number
of Trusts in the UK using the MAPS Health Suite solution to over 185 NHS Trusts.

The UK NHS Trusts which have awarded new contracts for MAPS Healthroster include:

- Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

- Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

- Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust

- East Kent NHS Hospitals Trust

- Enfield Community Healthcare Services NHS Trust

- Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

- Leeds Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

- Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

- South Birmingham Community Health

- Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust

Key to choosing MAPS Health Suite is its proven capabilities, its extensive
functionality, simplicity and proven time and cost savings. Proven benefits from
the solution include improved patient safety, improved staffing effectiveness,
improved quality of life for staff and increased accuracy of payroll data.

During the quarter the first contract extension was awarded, following the
release of a new module, which has been designed specifically for doctors and
medical staff. NHS Isle of Wight extended their investment in order to assign
doctors and medical staff more efficiently to their duties. This module had
already been successfully implemented at Barking, Havering and Redbridge
University Hospitals NHS Trust ("BHRUT").

Gill Perry, Deputy Director of HR at BHRUT explains why the Trust awarded the
contract for MAPS Healthroster electronic rostering solution: "As one of the
largest operating Trusts in England, we are always looking for ways to improve
and simplify the processes involved with managing a large workforce, while at
the same time maintaining the delivery of the best possible level of care. This
was particularly the case with the management of the rotas of junior doctors and
medical staff, which is a highly complex process that became even more prevalent
with the new legislative requirements of the European Working Time Directive."

The first new contract for Allocate Software's Web Timesheets module was also
awarded in the first quarter by Barts and The London NHS Trust. The module helps
to achieve improved accuracy of payroll data and alleviate the administrative
burden of timesheet management across departments.

The growth of the PCT provider market continued, including South Birmingham
Community Health, South Birmingham's PCT provider, who became the tenth PCT
customer to select Allocate Software's MAPS Healthroster, and will be using the
solution to support its 'Electronic Turnaround' initiative. A key reason for
choosing MAPS Healthroster is the reporting and auditing capability, which will
be used by the Trust to support the introduction of cost reduction programmes
through improved staff rostering.

Commenting, Ian Bowles, Chief Executive Officer said: "We are delighted by the
continued demand for our industry leading applications. Our Healthcare customer
community has grown to over 185 NHS Trusts, of which 91 NHS Trusts have selected
MAPS Healthroster. This makes MAPS Healthroster and BSMS the most commonly used
e-Rostering and temporary staff management software applications in the NHS. In
addition, four private healthcare providers use MAPS Healthroster to great
effect."
