NexPoint Credit Strategies Fund Announces Change in Ticker Symbol

NexPoint Credit Strategies Fund (the “Fund”) today announced
that it will change its ticker symbol from “HCF” to “NHF”. The Fund
expects it will begin trading under the new ticker symbol effective
Monday, September 10, 2012. The change
is being made because “NHF” more closely aligns with the Funds new
name of NexPoint Credit Strategies Fund, which was changed on June
10, 2012. Neither the Fund’s name nor CUSIP number will change. The
Fund’s common shares have traded on the NYSE under the ticker
symbol “HCF” since June 2006.
About NexPoint Credit Strategies Fund
The Fund is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment
company. The Fund’s investment objectives are to provide both
current income and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to
primarily invest in secured and unsecured floating and fixed rate
loans, bonds and other debt obligations, debt obligations of
stressed, distressed and bankrupt issuers, structured products and
equities. Within the categories of obligations and securities in
which the Fund invests, the investment adviser employs various
trading strategies, including capital structure arbitrage, pair
trades and shorting. NexPoint Advisors, L.P. has served as the
Fund’s investment adviser since June 11th, 2012 and is an affiliate
of Pyxis Capital, L.P., the Fund’s investment adviser from December
15th, 2011 to June 10th, 2012 and Highland Capital Management,
L.P., the Fund’s investment adviser from inception in 2006 to
