The agreement involves Teleglobe's Signaling Connection Control Part (SCCP) services for advanced signaling for roaming, and confirms Teleglobe's strong role providing SCCP service to mobile operators in Latin America. Teleglobe's reliable, secure SCCP service enables Nucleo to generate revenue through international roaming and SMS services, while meeting its customers' expectations for excellent quality. The signaling is specific to roamers and to subscribers sending inter-network short message service (SMS) messages. The service can be used alone or with Teleglobe's Wireless Global Roaming Service for ITU/ANSI signaling conversion, allowing seamless connectivity to and from North America.
