Cinergy Deploys Executive Dashboard, Sustainability and Training Applications to Employees Via Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite Service-Oriented Applications Created Within Plumtree Framework Save Time and Increase Accountability SAN FRANCISCO, June 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Enterprise Web leader Plumtree Software (NASDAQ:PLUM) today announced that Cinergy, a leading Fortune 500 diversified energy company, has deployed the Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite to 7,000 employees enterprise-wide. Initially launched in 2001 as an employee-services application, Cinergy's portal, known as iPower, has evolved into a platform for building applications to serve the company's business needs. With the Plumtree framework, Cinergy has been able to build multiple service-oriented applications, including an executive dashboard, an application that increases employee collaboration on a sustainability program, and a training application that provides educational tools.
