LONDON, June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Loudeye Corp. (NASDAQ:LOUD), a worldwide leader in business-to-business digital media solutions, today announced renewal of agreement with Planet Internet for the successful bundling initiative launched in March 2005. Planet Internet customers receive promotional credits that can be redeemed for a wide range of digital music downloads powered by Loudeye's OD2 services. The renewal of this agreement is a direct result of the success of Planet Internet's 2005 promotional campaign in which every ADSL Comfort and ADSL subscriber received a credit voucher redeemable for euro 4,00 or euro 10,00 of music per month. These vouchers can then be spent on track or album downloads from Planet Internet's OD2 powered "Music Stream" service. In 2005, Music Stream customers downloaded more than 2 million tracks from the service. Ed Averdieck, Loudeye's Managing Director in Europe, said, "We are delighted that the success of the Music Stream promotional offer with Planet Internet has led to the extension of this deal for another year. Offering digital music to subscribers as part of their broadband package has proven to be an attractive offer for consumers." Tako in 't Veld of Planet Internet, added, "Music Stream is one of our fastest growing offerings and continues to be one of the most successful digital music services in the Netherlands. In order for us to maintain this success it is vital we collaborate with the best digital music providers in Europe, and in OD2 we have just that partner." About Loudeye Corp.
