"GrossologyLIVE" to Provide Interactive Science Experiences to Children and Families Around the US Through Video Communications Glowpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOWE), the world's leading broadcast-quality IP-based video communications service provider, today announced that it has been chosen to provide a high definition, multi-site video solution for IDSolutions, a visual communications integration service provider, and its partner the National Association of Health Education Centers (NAHEC). As the major focus of the deployment, IDSolutions will lead the development of a distance edutainment programming series entitled 'Grossology LIVE' that will make available Live Interactive Video Experiences (LIVE) for an audience of children and adults. Under the initial 1-year multi-site agreement, five Health Education Centers located in Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and Ohio will offer Grossology LIVE in conjunction with IDSolutions, and will allow the general public to participate in high definition video communications programming remotely over GlowPoint's broadcast quality IP-based network. This series is based on PSS!'s wildly popular children's book entitled "Grossology: The Science of Really Gross Things" (C) by Sylvia Branzei and the blockbuster traveling science exhibition by the same name. Funding for Grossology LIVE is made possible through the support of the National Science Foundation. This video communications program uses innovative technology, exciting media, and interactive learning strategies to teach the good, the bad and the downright ugly about the impolite science of the human body.
