On January 17, 2008, Tutogen
Medical, Inc. (“Tutogen”) and Regeneration Technologies, Inc. (“RTI”) issued a press release announcing that with the proposed merger of the two companies, RTI will ask its shareholders to approve a new company name, RTI
Biologics, Inc., at the special meeting of the stockholders of RTI scheduled for February 27, 2008. The stock will continue to trade on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol RTIX.
A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
