Plymouth Rubber Company, Inc. Extends Global Automotive Tapes Contract CANTON, Mass., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Plymouth Rubber Company, Inc. (AMEX:PLR.AAMEX:PLR.B) today announced that it has been awarded a new global agreement to supply tapes used by a leading Tier 1 supplier of automotive electrical distribution systems (wire harnesses). The agreement extends through calendar year 2006 and covers requirements in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. The agreement is estimated at $50 million for the term. Plymouth has supplied harness tapes to this automotive supplier for over 35 years, and has had similar agreements in effect since 1988. "This new contract reflects Plymouth's world leadership in automotive harness tapes, achieved through years of working in close partnership with our customers to help improve quality, lower costs, and increase productivity in their harness assembly operations," commented Maurice J.
