Barclays’ nine cross-listed iPath® ETNs will cease to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange, but continue to trade on the NYSE Arca Exchange

Barclays Bank PLC (“Barclays”) announced today that it has elected to de-list the following nine iPath® exchange traded notes (ETNs) from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX):

The ETNs will continue to trade on the NYSE Arca Exchange after they have been de-listed from the TSX. The final trading date on the TSX will be May 26, 2014, and the ETNs will be de-listed after the close of trading on such date.

“Investors have shown a preference for trading U.S. dollar-denominated ETNs on a U.S. exchange,” said Ian Merrill, Head of ETNs, Americas. “As a result, we have voluntarily taken the decision to de-list all nine of our iPath ETNs from the Toronto Stock Exchange later this month. The ETNs will continue to be listed on NYSE Arca.”

Barclays previously announced it was redeeming its Canadian-dollar denominated iPath ETNs.
