France's Sopra, Steria Said Planning Computer Services Tie-Up -Bloomberg

French computer-service providers Sopra Group SA (SOP.FR) and
Groupe Steria SCA (RIA.FR) are planning to merge in a bid to better
compete against larger rivals International Business Machine Corp.
(IBM) and Accenture PLC (ACN), Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a
person familiar with the talks.
The boards of Sopra, with a market value of EUR1 billion ($1.4
billion), and Steria, at EUR522 million, are meeting Monday to
decide on the deal, the report said.
