Breeze Airways gets federal approval to launch

The U.S. Transportation Department issued final approval for new aviation startup Breeze Airways to take to the skies.

With federal approval Breeze can start flying and will initially use leased Embraer jets from Brazilian carrier Azul.

Breeze has ordered dozens of larger Airbus 220-300 planes.

The airline was founded by David Neeleman, who also co-founded JetBlue and Azul.

The startup's strategy is to 'bring low-cost, nonstop services to mid-size markets abandoned by our current air transportation network.'

It said it will focus on secondary leisure markets but hasn't yet disclosed which city pairs it plans to serve.

"These markets in many cases support once a day service or service a select few days of the week. Over time the routes will cover the entire country."

Neeleman has promised Breeze will be 'the world's nicest airline.'

Operations are based in Utah while its corporate headquarters are at Darien, Connecticut.

$11.50 is the going strike price on spac warrants. So $11.50 + warrant price = your cost per share if you exercise.

the warrant is like an option to buy. Strike price varies with the warrant but it seems most SPACs are at $10. Need to read the prospectus as some have forced exercise, others cannot exercise for a minimum delay after IPO/merger, etc. NKLA had very ugly terms so the warrants were always 'cheap'.

Dumb question, but what price will you have to pay for the stock when exercising the Warrant? The current stock price when exercised? Or is it a trade a warrant for a stock?

The Stock has warrants with the Ticker BREZW. They are 1:1 and climbing bullishly higher and higher daily. They went from $0.66 to $1.30 in only a few days. This Energy SPAC will be getting hot soon.
