Awarded for Long-Term Quality
For the 15th year, New Jersey American Water’s Delaware River
Regional Water Treatment Plant in Delran, and its Raritan Millstone
Water Treatment Plant in Bridgewater have received the Partnership
For Safe Water’s Directors Award. The award “celebrates utilities
for their outstanding commitment to delivering superior quality
drinking water to customers.” Representatives for New Jersey

Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
“When our customers open their taps, we want them to have
confidence their water is of high quality,” said Stephen Schmitt,
vice president of operations. “New Jersey American Water takes its
role as a steward of water very seriously and we’re grateful for
this honor. This award recognizes the hard work and expertise of
our employees who demonstrate their commitment to our customers
each day.”
