Class Y adds to KYOCERA’s existing Class Q
and Class V certifications
Kyocera International, Inc. announced today that it has received
Class Y certification for its semiconductor assembly operations
here.
Class Y certifies ceramic non-hermetic semiconductor packages
for use in space applications. The certification reinforces
Kyocera’s position as the premier, one-stop supplier of
highperformance ceramic packaging products and full turnkey,
flip-chip assembly services for wideranging semiconductor device
applications in commercial space satellites, space vehicles and
orbiting systems.
