European Economics Preview: Germany's Foreign Trade Data Due

Foreign trade data from Germany is due on Thursday, headlining a
light day for the European economic news.
At 1.45 am ET, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs is
slated to release Swiss unemployment data. The jobless rate is
forecast to remain unchanged at seasonally adjusted 3.1 percent in
October.
At 2.00 am ET, Destatis releases Germany's foreign trade
figures. Exports are forecast to fall 1.3 percent on month, while
imports are expected to climb 0.4 percent in September.
At 2.45 am ET, the Bank of France is scheduled to publish
business sentiment survey results. The business confidence index is
seen at 105 in October versus 104 in September.
At 3.00 am ET, consumer prices are due from the Czech Republic
and Hungary. Czech inflation is forecast to remain unchanged at 2.7
percent in October. Hungary's inflation is expected to ease to 2.3
percent in October from 2.5 percent in September.
At 5.00 am ET, the Hellenic Statistical Authority releases
Greece's consumer prices and unemployment figures.
