Dollar Mixed Ahead Of U.S. Jobs Data

(RTTNews) - The Labor Department releases U.S. nonfarm payrolls data for November at 8:30 am ET Friday. The economy is expected to add 180,000 jobs in November, following a gain of 161,000 jobs in October.

Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback held steady against the yen and the pound, it rose against the euro. Against the franc, it declined.

The greenback was worth 1.0648 against the euro, 113.95 against the yen, 1.0095 against the franc and 1.2622 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
