Interim Management Statement

For the period from 1 July 2011 to 3 November 2011

In accordance with Rule 4.3 of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the UK Listings Authority, Ingenious Live VCT 1 plc presents an Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 July to 3 November 2011.

OVERVIEW

The Company has experienced a successful summer of activity, with three of our outdoor music events reporting record attendances and all of them selling out completely. The net profit of the three summer events totalled close to GBP2,000,000. The Company's and Ingenious Live VCT 2 plc's (together "the Live VCTs") share of this net profit is close to GBP300,000 in total.

This has resulted in a further net write-up of GBP293,000 across the Company's investments in the period. The previously reported net asset value per share was 96.8p, however with an increase of 3.5p per share, the net asset value is now over GBP1 at 100.3p.

The Company is now fully invested for VCT qualifying purposes and will ensure that it remains fully invested until such time as it can realise its investments and return capital to shareholders.

DIVIDENDS

The Live VCTs intend to pay regular dividends on an annual basis, subject to Board approval as well as having sufficient distributable reserves.

SHARE BUY-BACKS

The Company did not buy back any of its own shares during the period.

The Company's board of directors and the investment manager are not aware of any significant event or transaction which has occurred between 1 July and 3 November 2011 which had a material effect on the financial position of the Company and has not been detailed above.
