IFCO Officially Partnering with the Growing Forward™ with Feeding America® Campaign

Leading provider of reusable plastic containers (RPCs)
supports new year-round campaign committed to help end hunger in
America
IFCO is pleased to announce its support for the Growing Forward™
with Feeding America® campaign, which launched at the beginning of
the year. Growing Forward is a year-round cause marketing campaign
committed to help end hunger in America through donations of fresh
fruits and vegetables to local Feeding America food banks
nationwide. This cause is particularly important to IFCO, which
supports food banks around the world through ongoing donations of
reusable plastic containers (RPCs) as well as financial
support.
As part of IFCO’s commitment to the Growing Forward campaign,
the company will donate 10,000 RPCs this year alone to various
Feeding America member food banks. The donation of RPCs provide
food banks with the necessary tools to sustain a consistent, safe
supply of fresh produce while ensuring that the fruits and
vegetables distributed among the Feeding America network are
received in the best quality possible.
“IFCO is heavily involved with food banks around the world,
donating RPCs to help protect the fresh foods donated by our
supplier partners and others. We currently donate RPCs on the local
level in North America, but the Growing Forward campaign offers our
company an opportunity to focus and expand our efforts,” said

The partnership will be announced this month at an annual IFCO
function in southern California. Melissa McDill, Campaign
Coordinator for Growing Forward, will be in attendance to speak
more on the cause. “IFCO is a leader in our industry and we’re
excited to be working together in the fight against hunger.”
