Jim brings over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He has been an Independent Registered Investment Advisor since 2015, and from 1997 to 2015 he held several positions at Merrill Lynch as an International Wealth Management Advisor, Regional Sales Manager, as well as Branch Manager and Complex Director covering the International Wealth Management Business in the Southwestern US Market.

The San Francisco native was raised in Germany and spent time in military service as an infantry officer in Germany, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business. He began his financial services career in 1990 with Deutsche Bank in Germany, Spain, and the US. Jim is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP®), he holds licenses Series 3,7,9,10,24,63, and 65, as well as the Insurance Agent license in the state of California.
