Music Publishing announced it has signed multi-platinum music
producer and songwriter Johnny
Goldstein to a worldwide co-publishing deal. The company has
also partnered with Artist Publishing Group (APG) to provide
creative services to Goldstein. APG, founded by veteran
Atlantic/WMG A&R executive Mike
Caren, provides an array of creative and business services
to songwriters and producers.
Johnny Goldstein is well known
for collaborating with some of today's top talent, notably
alongside will.i.am to produce the Black Eyed Peas' eighth studio
album TRANSLATION, where he produced twelve of the album's
fifteen tracks alongside artists including Shakira, Tyga, Ozuna,
Nicky Jam, Becky G, Maluma, French Montana, El Alfa, Piso 21, and J
Rey Soul. TRANSLATION has earned global recognition,
reaching No.3 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart and earning over
500 million streams.
Recently, the album's single "MAMACITA," featuring Ozuna, soared
to No.1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, reached No.1 on
Latin Airplay, and garnered over 500 million total
streams. Due to the album's incredible success, Johnny was
named one of Billboard's Top 10 Producers for its Latin charts and
was recognized as a Variety 2020 Hitmaker Of The Month.
