EAGLE, Idaho, Nov. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nancy
Gaenzle, author of "Luella and Nita the Owl" and "Luella's
Christmas Surprise," revisits the story of her beloved young
protagonist. She returns to the publishing scene with the release
of "Luella and Frank the Pheasant" (published by Archway
Publishing),
This third volume of the series continues the adventures of
10-year-old Luella who lives on a family farm. She finds and
befriends a pheasant living in the cornfield. The relationship of
this very unlikely pair blossoms with each activity they share. The
rest of the summer is filled with games and excitement. Frank, the
pheasant, has a zest for life and learns to trust his new friend
and include Luella in his world. But summer days quickly passed.
Fall has arrived. Harvest season is in the air. There is a distant
sound of a tractor in Frank's cornfield. What will happen to their
friendship?
In a clever mix of wholesome story and colorful visuals, "Luella
and Frank the Pheasant" highlights the importance of building trust
in making friends. It conveys a message of kindness toward animals
and reminds readers that potential friends are everywhere, even in
one's backyard.
"This book teaches kindness and caring for our fellow animals
[that] we are sharing this planet with," the author states. "[It]
teaches that in life, sometimes, we have to let go of our friends
in hopes they will return someday."
