AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Houston area's cookie scene just got sweeter with a new location of Tiff's Treats opening today to serve Webster, Texas with its classic warm cookie delivery. The new store, at 593 West Bay Area Boulevard in the Boulevard Shopping Center, is holding a grand opening this Saturday from 9 a.m.1 p.m. benefiting Houston Children's Charity.

The first 40 people in line at the grand opening will receive a $100 Tiff's Treats gift card; all others in line at 9 a.m. will receive a $10 gift card. Everyone at the event has a chance to find prizes inserted in random boxes of cookies, as well as a chance to win free cookies for a year. Plus, attendees who bring a new, easily transportable toy to donate to Toys for Tots will receive a $5 Tiff's Treats gift card.

Tiff's Treats will be selling two of its most irresistible cookie flavors—chocolate chip and snickerdoodle—for just $5 per dozen. Customers can purchase up to six dozen cookies per person. All sales (up to $5,000) will go to Houston Children's Charity, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Greater Houston's underprivileged, abused and disabled children. This event's donation will go toward the purchase of a wheelchair-accessible van to give a disabled child's family the freedom of mobility to make daily travel and family outings easier.

"We couldn't be more excited to partner with Houston Children's Charity to kick off the opening of our Webster store," said Leon Chen, co-founder of Tiff's Treats. "We've seen a huge outpouring of requests from fans on social media for a new location southeast of Houston, and we're looking forward to celebrating this new store with our loyal Houston-area fans and supporting an amazing charity."

Tiff's Treats bakes and delivers warm, fresh cookies and brownies on demand. Customers can place delivery orders for homes, schools or businesses, or can drop in to the new store to satisfy a sweet tooth or pick up their order. The business announced last month that customers can now enjoy free delivery on all orders over $15 by joining the Tiff's Treats Elites membership program. Also announced last month—Tiff's Treats' newest menu item: a decadent brownie trio with a traditional chocolate brownie, a salted caramel blondie and a peanut butter chocolate bar brownie.

The Webster store's delivery zone includes Webster, Clear Lake and other areas surrounding the Johnson Space Center. Normal business hours are 9 a.m.10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Tiff's Treats stores are cashless. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted at the grand opening event.
