HOUSTON, May 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ameritex
Movers, a local Houston moving
company, took home the Best in Show for single booth display
May 16 at the Houston Apartment
Association Education Conference and Expo. The annual event is the
largest local apartment association expo in the country. Ameritex's
first place award makes it their fourth consecutive win.
Ameritex Movers' winning booth this year featured a cardboard
replica of the iron throne and dragon from the hit television
series "Game of Thrones." The walls alone included over 2,800
individual paper florets and lights, topped with packing peanut
"snow." Ameritex's past winning designs included a "Box City"
featuring the Houston skyline made
out of cardboard, a cardboard NASA space shuttle, and cardboard
couture clothing.
"At Ameritex Movers, we are fueled with the passion for
creativity," said Beth Rohani, owner
of Ameritex Movers. "Taking something that's current and bringing
it to life lets us express who we are as a company and as a team,
and that's why this experience was so meaningful. The idea was
sparked by one individual who was willing to think differently and
ultimately ignited the whole team to Think Outside the Box."
The annual Houston Apartment Association Conference and Expo
boasts over 2,000 attendees every year. The conference featured 300
vendors and seminars from industry experts like Jen Piccotti, Donna
Hickey, Marla Posey and
Patience Hackler. This year's theme
was "Radiate," encouraging all attendees to grow their careers
through the conference.
