Financial announced today that Melanie
Yermack has been promoted to director of the firm's
Investment Banking group and Christopher
Yike has been promoted to vice president, effective
December 1, 2018.
Melanie Yermack joined Mesirow
Financial Investment Banking as an associate in 2011 and was
subsequently promoted to vice president. In her new role, Melanie
will continue to lead transaction processes as well as contribute
to the group's business development efforts in the paper, plastics
and packaging sector. In 2017, Melanie was named a winner of The
M&A Advisor's 8th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards in the
Dealmaker category. Melanie earned a B.S. from the University of Illinois College of Business, where
she graduated with high honors.
Christopher Yike joined the
firm's Investment Banking group as an associate in 2017. In his new
role, Chris will focus on leading the day-to-day execution of
transaction processes, while continuing to provide valuation
analyses and advisory services for transactions in the aerospace
and defense, business services, consumer and retail, food and
agriculture, industrials and paper, plastics and packaging
industries, among others. In addition, Chris will be advising on a
variety of transaction types including venture capital, growth
capital, buyouts, strategic M&A, recapitalizations, turnarounds
and debt financings. Chris earned a B.S. from Case Western Reserve University.
