Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (NAS.OS) said Tuesday that it has
agreed to sell six Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Pembroke Aircraft
Leasing 5 Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Chartered PLC
(STAN.LN).
Deliveries will take place in the fourth quarter of 2019 and
first quarter of 2020, with sale proceeds used to repay debt and
increase liquidity.
Sale terms weren't disclosed, but Norwegian said the deal is
expected to increase its liquidity by around $55 million after
repayment of debt and to have a positive equity effect.
