Shell Signs Deals to Develop Solar PV Projects in the UK

Royal Dutch Shell PLC said Monday that it has signed deals with
Island Green Power and Clearstone Energy to develop solar
photovoltaic projects in the U.K.
The Anglo-Dutch energy company said that the deal with Island
Green Power will include an initial collaboration on around 700
megawatts of generating capacity. As for the Clearstone agreement,
the projects have a total combined export capacity of 100 megawatts
with co-located storage potential.
Both deals would be subject to a future final investment
decision, Shell said.
