DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST

The Company received notification on 6 October 2003 that Aviva plc and Morley
Fund Management Limited (a subsidiary of Aviva plc) have, following purchases
totalling 59,600 shares on 2 October 2003, an interest of 7,113,910 Ordinary
shares of 50p each in the Company. This represents 6.05% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
