BP PLC said Tuesday that it has appointed Anja-Isabel Dotzenrath
as executive vice president for the gas and lower carbon energy
division.
Ms. Dotzenrath was until recently the chief executive officer of
RWE Renewables, and will join the British energy giant on March
1.
"She is exactly the right person for bp, at exactly the right
time--a globally respected and deeply experienced leader in
renewable energy with a proven track record of transforming and
growing businesses," BP Chief Executive Bernard Looney said.
She will replace Dev Sanyal, who will leave BP to pursue a new
role elsewhere.
